Mazagon Dock Limited invites applications from Indian Nationals for the following posts on the regular basis in the Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA) pay scale:
* Dy. General Manager (E-6) : 04 posts
* Manager (E-4) : 28 posts(19-Mechanical, 01-Paint, 07-Electrical, 01-Electronics)
* Dy. Manager (E-3) : 19 posts (13- Mechanical, 03-Electrical, 01-Electronics, 02-Civil)
* Asst. Manager (Tech) (E-2) : 21 posts (11-Mechanical, 03-Electrical, 02-Electronics, 05-Civil)
* Sr. Engineer (Tech) (E-1) : 12 posts (10-Mechanical, 02-Electrical/ Electronics)
* Sr. Engineer (Tech) (Ex-Navy) (E-1) : 04 posts (04-EAP)
* Probationary Officer (E-1) : 46 posts (30-Mechanical, 08-Electrical, 08-Electronics)
Age relaxation is by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, For Ex-servicemen age relaxation is to the extent of number of years in Military Service subject to maximum 3 years beyond prescribed age limit of the post.
Pay Scales :
1. E-6 : Rs. 17500-400-22300
2. E-4 : Rs. 14500-350-18700
3. E-3 : Rs. 13000-350-18250
4. E-2 : Rs. 10750-300-16750
5. E-1 : Rs.8600-250-14600

Applications are invited from Indian Citizens and certain other categories of persons for appointments to the following posts. The details of the posts are as follows :
* Officers in Grade 'B' : 79 posts (UR-39,SC-11,ST-6, OBC-23) (PH-7), Age : 21-30 years, Pay Scale : Rs.13700-24400, Qualification : (i) A First Class Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade OR (ii) A Second Class Master's Degree with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade OR (iii) A Doctorate Degree with 50% marks in Master's Degree or equivalent grade OR (iv) Chartered/ Cost Accountant/ Company Secretary (ACS) with a Bachelor's Degree OR (v) A Post Graduate Diploma in Management
from IIM only. (SC/ ST/ VH/ HI candidates having second class with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in Bachelor's Degree examination OR having a Post-graduate Degree or equivalent recognized qualification, are eligible to apply)
Selection by written test and interview.
Application Fee : Rs.100/- (No fee is payable by SC/ST/PH candidates) payable by Demand Draft favoring Reserve Bank of India and payable at Mumbai only. Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse of the Demand Draft and in the space provided for the purpose on the Postal Orders (if fee is payable) and enclose them to the application with a pin (should not be stapled). However, candidates from un-banked areas may pay fee by crossed Indian Postal Orders in favor of Reserve Bank of India payable at GPO, Mumbai.
