7. EIE - Lecturer : 05 posts
8. FET - Lecturer : 01 post
9. Mech. Engg. - Lecturer : 11 posts, Technician : 06 post
10. English - Lecturer : 01 post

Consolidated Salary : Lecturer : Rs.19680/- per month, Technician - Rs.13860/- per month.

Qualification :

* Lecturer in Engineering/ Technology : 1st class Master's Degree in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology together with a First Class Bachelor's Degree in appropriate branch of Engineering/ Technology (OR) First Class Bachelor's degree in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology or equivalent, valid GATE score, minimum 75 percentile.
* Lecturer in Humanities and Science : Ph.D. Degree in the appropriate branch of Humanities and Science (OR) Good academic record with 1st Class M.Sc. level or MA level with NET or similar exam accredited by the UGC.
* Technician in Engineering/Technology : Diploma in relevant trade with one year's industrial/professional experience after acquiring the minimum qualification. OR Certificate in relevant trade from an ITI and 4 years professional/industrial experience.
* Technician in Science : B.Sc. 2nd class in appropriate branch of Science with 2 years experience in relevant trade Lab.

The interested candidates should come for interview in the Committee Room, Administrative Block, SLIET, Longowal on 29/07/2009 at 9.00 am for the posts from Sl. 1 to5 and on 30/07/2009 at 9.00 am for the posts no. 6 to 10. They should bring complete bio-data along with attested copies of their certificates in support of their educational/ professional qualifications.
