1. The Ministry of AYUSH has signed an agreement with World Health Organisation (WHO) for promotion of traditional Indian systems of medicine, including Yoga and Ayurveda, globally.

आयुष मंत्रालय ने योग एवं आयुर्वेद सहित भारतीय चिकित्सा पद्धतियों को वैश्विक स्तर पर प्रोत्साहन देने के लिए विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन (डब्ल्यूएचओ) के साथ करार किया है।

2. International Monetary Fund (IMF) has trimmed India’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth projections to 7.4 per cent for 2016-17. Before this IMF projected the India’s growth to be 7.5 per cent for the current fiscal year.

अंतरराष्ट्रीय मुद्राकोष (आईएमएफ) ने 2016-17 के लिए भारत की सकल घरेलू उत्पाद (जीडीपी) की वृद्धि दर के अनुमान को घटाकर 7.4 प्रतिशत कर दिया है। इससे पहले आईएमएफ ने चालू वित्त वर्ष में भारत की वृद्धि दर 7.5 प्रतिशत रहने का अनुमान लगाया था।

3. Global telecom industry body GSMA announced the launch of ‘Mobile Connect’, a mobile-based authentication solution that allows users to create and manage their digital identity across apps and services, using their mobile numbers.

दूरसंचार कंपनियों के वैश्विक संगठन जीएसएमए ने मोबाइल आधारित समाधान ‘मोबाइल कनेक्ट’ भारत में शुरू करने की घोषणा की। इस समाधान के जरिए ग्राहक अपने मोबाइल नंबर का इस्तेमाल करते हुए विभिन्न एप व सेवाओं के लिए अपनी डिजिटल पहचान सृजित कर सकता है और उसका प्रबंधन कर सकता है।

4. Niti Aayog tied up with Intel India to set up 10 laboratories under the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) to cultivate adaptive learning and innovation skills among young minds.

नीति आयोग ने अटल नवोन्मेष मिशन (ऐम) के तहत 10 प्रयोगशालाएं स्थापित करने के लिए इंटेल इंडिया के साथ समझौता किया है। इसके तहत युवाओं के बीच नवोन्मेष कौशल और सीखने की ललक का प्रचार किया जाएगा।

5. Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has approved the takeover of Aluminium maker Hindalco’s subsidiary Aditya Birla Minerals Ltd (ABML) by Metal Xs.

रिजर्व बैंक ने अल्यूमीनियम बनाने वाली हिंडाल्को की आस्ट्रेलियाई खनन इकाई आदित्य बिड़ला मिनरल्स लि. (एबीएमएल) का मेटल एक्स द्वारा अधिग्रहण को मंजूरी दे दी।
