Qualification : Good academic record with at least 55% of marks (relaxation of 5% for SC/ ST/ PH/ those holding Ph.D. and have obtained Master's degree prior to 1991) or its equivalent grade or B in the UGC seven point scale in Master's degree in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a Foreign University.

Candidates should have cleared NET / CSIR or similiar test accredited by the UGC. However, those candidates who are holding m.Phil or Ph.D. Degree in the concerned subject are exempted from NET.

Candidates should have qualified the NET conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similiar test accredited by the UGC. however, those candidates who are holding M.Phil. or Ph.D. degree in the concerned subject are exempted from NET.
