Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) invites applications for Project Scientist on contract basis to work on Research & Development (R&D) Projects. Advt. No: IIST/37/12 dated 04-4.2012.

Name of the post, required qualification and experience

1. PROJECT SCIENTIST - 01
Qualification : M. Tech/ M.S/ M.Sc or equivalent in Atmospheric Science/Oceanic Science/ Meteorology.
Experience : Proficiency in FORTRAN, NCL, Grads, and MATLAB.

2.PROJECT SCIENTIST - 02
Qualification : M.Tech/ M.S. / M.Sc or equivalent in Electrical/ Electronics/Computer Science/ Atmospheric Science/Oceanic Science/ Meteorology.
Experience : Good Knowledge in Adaptive Signal Processing, FORTAN, NCL, Grads, and MATLAB

Age Limit: 35 years as on 30.04.2012 (SC/ST/OBC/ Ex-servicemen/ Persons with Disability (PWD) are eligible for age relaxation as per rule).

Emoluments: For M.Sc or equivalent degree holders Rs: 30,000/- (consolidated) per month. For M.Tech/M.S or equivalent degree holders Rs: 35,000/- (consolidated) per month.
